FREEDOM

in the city of Babylon
where everything is bland
war between citizens and government
everyone is just incongruous

we are living a disparaged life
no happiness to intermeddle with
we are the interpretation of suffering
the construal of pain

 there is one thing we ask for
we need our days to be auspicious
serve us with gold flaskets
Freedom is all we need
