What exactly art thou? Ye black man
That follows up and down every man
You are just a mirage of me
Fades when i am alone in darkness

Are you a spirit or a demon,
That goes opposite the ray of light?
Are you the afraid 'me'casted out of me, 
But joins himself to the sole of my feet?

I know you can't leave me for now
Oh! I get, you are a detective
Sent by darkness to watch over me in light
But here comes a news to you, Mr Shadow

A time shall come when I will go
When I will leave the light you hate its ray
And I will be lowered into darkness forever
