SPARKLE

I was in the darkness
far away from happiness
Devil rejoicing over my sadness
my soul desired liveliness

I saw death face to face
running after me, I took a race
getting tired, a low in pace
my body longed for grace

then something happened
The Lord with a sword sharpened
and my soul became lightened
he made everywhere brightened

I saw around me little twinkles
my cloth became new, no wrinkles
my sadness met hackles
from then, my life SPARKLES
